Focal points are unable to handle and process cases assigned to a counsellor
After the recent release, focal points have the ability to confirm the arrival of returnees for cases that have been assigned at the counselor level. They can also edit and submit cases assigned to a counselor to their coordinators.
Auto-validated cases in KM2 are opened at counsellor level in KM3
We have resolved the issue that was causing auto validated cases in KM2 to be opened in KM3 at a counsellor level. With the latest release, these cases will now be opened at the focal point, unless the KM2 of the case had already reached the counsellor level.
Reply to the request to confirm departure submitted by the RP
The issue that impeded MS from replying regarding the request to confirm the departure of the returnee is now partially resolved. In most cases (except for cases with urgent needs), the MS will have the following options to click on when such a request is submitted by an RP.
Notifications
Our ICT colleagues are currently working on activating the notification function to facilitate the work of users on behalf of MS and RP.
Replacement of documents
Currently, there are a few issues regarding replacement documents in RIAT. It is important to note that if a different user is attempting to replace a document that has already been uploaded by another user, they must click on:
Edit button
Select the text indicated in the section where the old document is uploaded, and removed it
Click on save as a draft
Then please click again on the edit button and move on the section that you need to upload the document
Click on add a file
Choose the file and then please click on "Encrypt and Upload"
Then, please save your case.
Insert date of birth for individuals born before 1984
At the moment, RIAT does not allow the direct encoding of a birth year earlier than 1984 from the drop-down menu. To encode a year of birth earlier than 1984, you should type manual the returnee's date of birth. Please note the RIAT uses the American date format : YYYY-MM-DD
Request to confirm departure for cases with identified urgent needs.
Please be advised that MS (organization name) cannot provide confirmation of a returnee's departure in cases with urgent needs. Therefore, users representing the Reintegration partner should refrain from clicking on the "Confirm departure" button in such cases. Instead, they should utilize alternative communication channels, such as leaving a comment in the relevant case or sending an email.
Translation
Please be aware that the translation function provided by the translation button should not be used while editing the case. If you wish to review the case information, please click on the view button and choose your preferred language. However, if you prefer to have the context of RIAT translated into your native language while editing a case, please utilize the translation service offered by internet browsers. This will allow you to submit your cases without any difficulties.
